This is a beautiful shirt. The second of our Samurai, Bushido series. This shirt features a beautiful dusk blue background with a charging Samurai on horseback in the foreground. One of the special skills of certain Samurai warriors was their skill at horsemanship. The Seven Tenets of Bushido

The legendary Samurai were truly one of history's greatest warrior cultures. Born of a society fueled by warfare and found absolute obedience to honor and loyalty, the Samurai were both feared and revered by all classes of citizenry in feudal Japan. The legends and stories of the Samurai to this day, dominate any discussion of the ideals and principles of what any warrior should live by and express.

The Samurai lived by a strict code of conduct called Bushido - The Way of The Warrior. The Code of Bushido consisting of seven tenets was the backbone of the very ideals that represented, defined, and restrained these fierce warriors.

The seven tenets were;

1. "Gi" - Rectitude
2. "Yu" - Valor
3. "Jin" - Benevolence
4. "Rei" - Respect
5. "Makato" - Honesty
6. "Meiyo" - Honor
7. "Chugi" - Loyalty

We will be releasing seven Samurai shirts, one each month representing the heart and soul of the Samurai Warrior and his ideals. This is a shirt I am proud to wear. I go to a lot of functions and the feeling that I can always sense is that there are people in the crowd wondering, "Is that guy a liberal or a conservative?". Most people never have to ask that question about me, but that's not my point. The point is if you are in a mixed crowd, let's say a soccer parents meeting or some other cross sectional social gathering, you really don't know who's a liberal or who's a conservative. When I'm at one of these functions I always end up talking to several of the Dad's or Mom's who have ID'ed me as a conservative. And man do they want to talk. It's like finally, someone I can talk to who's like me and I don't have to feel uncomfortable or worry that I'm offending anyone. I don't know if I have to tattoo on my forehead or what, but man do they seek me out. And boy are they relieved. The funny thing about it is this; There's more of us than you think.

Anyway, I made a shirt that doesn't leave any question about your views. I AM Conservative and Proud, and it says so right on this shirt. I'm telling you this shirt is like a magnet. And I don't mean for liberals who want to "debate" you. I mean for fellow conservatives who know they have found someone "safe" to talk to. Every time I wear this shirt, I am amazed at how many new friends I meet everywhere I go. Now you too can let everyone know where you stand without question or hesitation. It's a good feeling.
